My modern Australian garden ‘Balance by Nature’ appeared at Melb Flower Show 2022 and won 1st place, Best Use of PlantLife & People Choice. This design showcases a selection of native plants suitable for a small Melbourne garden.

My inspiration for this garden is the colour and textures of the Australian landscape from across the country

I created a continuous curved, ‘red earth’ backdrop to accentuate the blue/green foliage and elevated a section using tall planter boxes. The space has been divided into rooms, using mounding and a winding path.
